One of the most debated political controversies in Jammu & Kashmir's history in 1984 is revisited through rare archival evidence. Drawing on contemporaneous Kashmir Times reports, published photographs, parliamentary proceedings and other historical records, this Kashmir Rechords Archival Dossier reconstructs the events that unfolded in 1984 surrounding the alleged Farooq Abdullah–JKLF connection. By presenting the documentary record alongside official responses and denials, the investigation invites readers to examine a forgotten chapter of Kashmir's political history through the lens of original archival sources.
